Dr. Randy Tesar spent six years of undergraduate schooling to become a Pharmacist. After practicing for a year he decided to change profession. He then entered Colorado State University for four years of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Randy Tesar has owned AMC since 1983. His main interests are in Orthopedic and Endoscopic procedures. In 2003, Dr. Tesar was certified in TPLO surgery and has performed over 100 of these procedures since then. Outside interests include fishing, photography, family and traveling. All the Tesar crew have been involved in AMC over the years: his wife Melinda still works here, and his three children (all now adults) Jeremy, Trevor, & Lindsay. The Tesar Family also includes their two dogs Rosie and Karley.
